A bit about this book:
I took the check-out cards from the backs of books from the American Literature section of the Decker Library in Baltimore, MD (which I found out is illegal to do) and divided them into three chapters:
1. nothing to say: cards from books that had never been checked out
2. days of the week: cards that had a day of the written in the top corner
3. all filled up: cards that had been checked out so much that there was nowhere left to stamp
I then pasted the cards to paper and used traditional bookbinding methods to sew the pages into the book cover. Then, I had the book cataloged into the Decker Library but not before I was scolded and questioned by the head librarian on how I acquired so many of the check out cards.
